Can you give a short summary of your main business activities?

The Orange County Regional History Center, housed in a restored historic five-story 1927 courthouse in downtown Orlando, showcases the vast collection of the Historical Society of Central Florida, Inc. The museum features four floors of permanent exhibits and also presents nationally important limited-run exhibitions. The museum, a Smithsonian Institution affiliate, is accredited by the American Association of Museums.!

Which is your most popular excursion/activity/item/package and why?

In addition to our exhibits, we also have various events throughout the year, many of which are reoccurring. Retro Game Night is very popular, which takes place about four times a year and features classic video and board games as well as a cash bar. Our Star Wars-themed Galactic Encounter Day, which is an annual event, occurring on September 15 this year, is also very popular. We also have History Book Club, Lunch and Learn, and Artists and Authors events throughout the year which bring local artists, authors, and historic figures to the History Center. Most of our admission deals take place in the summer, however our major limited-run exhibitions occur in the Fall/Winter season.

Central Florida has many wonderful cultural organizations and museums that are great and affordable alternatives to theme parks. .

Are there any other landmarks or activities (etc) you think visitors may find interesting in your area?

Wall Street, which is right next to the museum, features great food and exciting night life..
