 Las Vegas is a fantastic destination for RV rental holiday makers. The area is jam packed with things to do, from sun up to sun down you will find entertainment around every corner. And you don't need to spend a lot of money to have a good time. Many of the popular activities listed below are the free or inexpensive ways to entertain the whole family.
Our advice to travelers in our camper rentals is to book your spot in the RV park well in advance. This will ensure you get as close to the Vegas strip as possible, and will make your stay much more enjoyable.
Bellagio Fountains
The Las Vegas Bellagio Fountain draws large numbers of tourists. Over 1000 individual jets of water are choreographed to match the speed and tempo of the accompanying musical numbers. The fountain was inspired by the original Bellagio Resort situated in Lake Como Italy. The concept of the hotel is featured in the film, Ocean's Eleven. The fountain itself is located at the front of the hotel. It sits atop lake which is eight acres across. Shows run every 30 minutes during the day and every 15 minutes in the evening.
Bellagio Botanical Gardens
Just beyond the Bellagio's lobby you will find the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. This indoor wonderland provides a kaleidoscope of colours for your senses. It is open 24 hours for your convenience.
Bellagio art gallery
Venture in to the heart of the Bellagio and you will find the Gallery of Fine Art. Exhibits are on constant rotation to ensure the venue remains timely and relevent. Exhibits and artworks come from museums as well as private collections. Past exhibitions have ranged from Picasso to Warhol.
Gaming Classes at the Las Vegas Hilton
If you are planning on gambling, these 30 or so minute classes can be fun and education. Most of them are free, so why not include them in your things to do in Las Vegas? You will need to inquire on class times at the Las Vegas Hilton.
Eiffel Tower Replica
The view from the top of this structure is truly amazing. While the tower contains a restaurant, the budget conscious travelers in our RV rentals will most likely prefer to keep their costs low. Forunately all of our RV rentals come fully equipment with self contained catering equipment.
The Mirage Hotel Volcano
The volcano at the Mirage is another popular tourist attraction. It erupts every evening at regular 15 minute intervals. It spews smoke and fire more than 100 feet above the water and delights visitors young and old alike.
The Fremont Street Experience
This energetic show is a great way to enjoy an evening of free entertainment in Las Vegas. The show takes up a large section of Fremont Street and it uses some of the biggest screens anywhere in the world. The show is energetic and fun, and is appropriate for individuals of all ages. The free nightly shows feature 12.5 million lights and 550,000 watts of sound. Enjoy free concerts and special events throughout the year.
Treasure Island Show
The Treasure Island Hotel and Casino stages these spectacular shows regularly starting at 4pm every day. The show changes regularly so check your local guide for more information about the current show. Our advice is to arrive early to ensure you get a good vantage point. This would make an ideal way to spend time before retiring to your camper rental for the night to relax and enjoy a homestyle meal.
