Apollo has again sponsored a Motorhome holiday prize for The EPSON International Pano Awards. This award is dedicated to the art of panoramic photography. Advances in digital photography and software such as PTGui, Adobe Photoshop, Kolor Autopano and Easypano Panoweaver has resulted in an explosion in image stitching, especially in the panoramic format. The EPSON International Pano Awards showcases the work of panoramic photographers worldwide and is the largest competition for panoramic photography. 2012 is the third year of the competition, and with a prize pool over US$30,000, it attracted 3853 entries submitted from 893 photographers in 55 countries. The standard was high, with 60 Gold awards, 214 Silver awards, and 2,877 Bronze awards achieved. The overall Open winner was Craig Bill from the USA, for his stunning image of a spectacular storm. Sergey Semenov from Russia took out the overall Amateur prize which included Apollo´s Motorhome holiday in which he can choose form a self-drive trip in USA, NZ or AU. He submitted an amazing aerial photograph of Central Park in New York. The VR/360 competition was won by Eric Herrmann of the USA for his wonderful ‘movie style’ image called ‘The Chase’ A big congratulations to all winners
